Back in 2020 an old-time reader reminded me that the 10th Anniversary, in terms of when I first uploaded the study guide on the net, was coming up. While it is true that the study guide first got online on September 23, 2010, there was also a 3 year gap when the site disappeared from the net, so I did not think a 10 Year Anniversary was something worth noting at the time. I was also occupied with other things and did not have anything to publish in 2020. But a month ago I realized that the 10 Year Anniversary of the new study guide having been around on Blogspot was coming up, so I decided to bring attention to that instead.
Part 1 of the Xenosaga Story Analysis has been finished for two years, and I was going to get to Part 2 this autumn originally, but then I decided to work on the articles examining fictional works that have influenced Xenogears and Xenosaga instead while I still have that fresh in my mind. I also thought it was best to put up sections for all the Xenosaga guide books before I really get into the Xenosaga analysis again.
I hope readers continue to find my analysis of these works useful. I have partly written them to be useful to myself, since it is easy to forget a lot of details when it comes to works this dense along with what has been said in developer interviews. And I care a lot about accurate information and informed speculation. I have increased the meticulousness of my approach since 2024 and so the quality will be higher the more time I take with the writing. Improvements to older articles will also be done from time to time. I hope to stick around for another 10 years, and with the pace I'm going, I certainly have enough material planned to last another decade.
